Moore Haven to Sunset Bay Marina Stuart

Great city Marina in Moore Haven nice stay. Left the dock at 8:00am just after they lifted the train Bridge and headed to the lock. Got through the lock and entered the Rim Canal of Okeechobee lake headed to the cut out into the lake at Clewiston. kind of a long boring ride along the earthen damns, but once we hit the lake we sped up and headed out. Nice easy ride no wind at all to bring up the fetch, so all smooth. Got to the lock at the other end of the lake and for the first time(for us) they opened both gates and we drove right through the lock. Guess they only need some times.

Pulled into the marina, got fuel and tanks pump out and off to our slip. We’re here until Monday because of high winds and cold temperatures. Then north on the ICW.
