Heflin Lock to Kingfisher Marina

Absolutely perfect night at anchor just below the lock. There were eight boats in the anchorage with us and plenty of room and nice calm evening.

Got up early and headed out about 6:30. Our buddy boat joined us heading down river. Two of the 8 boats at anchor followed us out. We hope to arrive at Kingfisher Marina somewhere around 12:30 PM which will give us a fair amount of time to do boat chores and get things cleaned up, do laundry, etc..

Got in early and completed boat chores, etc. We went to dinner with friends and came back to a battery alarm, one of the starting batteries was overheating on the charger. Got everything turned off and called it a night. There is always tomorrow to figure out the problem, except we are supposed to leave at 6am! Guess that plan is on hold.

Great spot for the night
Relaxation at anchor
Admiral work on Christmas ornaments
Shell ornaments

I checked the battery with the voltmeter and it read 12.20 this morning, but the temperature last night was 140 degrees so I am pretty sure it done for. The service office opens at eight this morning, I guess I’ll be standing at the door when it opens.
