Grand Harbor to Midway Marina MS

Three locks today, first one dropped us 60 feet, the other two were 30 foot drops. We are now going down stream. No more fighting the currents going upstream. We traveled with four other boats today, one couple with 3 young girls and two dogs. nice group of people to travel with.

Our marina is a little on the older, but the people are great. Got all of us into slips right away. One Marina worker getting lines from five boats in all different area of the docks. As usual, the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Good timing Rex, but the Admiral came up with a steak for Sunday steak night.

We are here for two days because there is a large cold front in the area with high winds. Wouldn’t make for good travel days. We’ll leave Tuesday morning with the same group of boats. Four locks on Tuesday.
