Canyon Harbor Marina to lock 40 Thorah

Highly recommend the Marina we stayed at, Carlo and his wife were great hosts.

Another huge lift lock today! Pictures below:

Personal uses growing?
Kirkland Lift lock
Bulldawg!

Great until we Shredded a pin on the prop shaft, then only one engine will turn the prop… and we are on a canal with nothing around.

ha! sometime I’m going to try and really understand how these locks work. Is it that you are on the bottom, it fills with water and which floats you up to the next level? Anyway, sorry about the pin shred…xoxoxo She

    John and Holly,

Dede and I have been catching up on your email and adventures. Glad you made it to Chicago. The photos of the city are spectacular.

Your photos included those of your props. We’re jealous. You don’t want to see photos of out port props. Shaft and strut.

We’re spending some time at the Freeling Drive home. It’s turning out well. We’re both pleased. Dock space available when you’re here.

    Cheers,

    Johnny and Dede

    Sincerely,
