Cornwall to Brockville

Three locks today, first two on the US side then one Canadian lock. First two raise the boat 90 feet and the third only 3 to 6 feet. The US locks have floating boalards to tie onto. We made loop with pieces of hose with the line passed through it and they worked great.

Tie off in the US locks

Made it thru the first lock almost right away, then the held us up in the second for another boat locking through behind us…..45 minutes of waiting in the lock. Hopefully this doesn’t become an all day event.

Canadian lock was a drive through because the water levels have been so high, they opened both side/gates and we went straight through. Still not sure why we waited an half an hour, but I not the “God Emperor “ today.

The videos below are pretty cool of the locks and boat races.
