Montreal to Valleyfield Marina

Left the Montreal Yacht Club At 7:30 after staying up late to watch the fireworks.

Didn’t do us any good, we got to the lock an hour early as requested, and found out that we were delayed until 10:30, which turn out to be 11:30….got through the first two locks and realized I had f’up and not booked the next two locks. I rush online to book passage and give them money but couldn’t get the date correct. Well screw it, we just followed another boat into the lock like we had the right date, figure they wouldn’t make us leave. When he ask us about payment we said we had the wrong date and he fixed the date for us. Nice guy!

These looks today were the greatest lift we have been through, 45 feet up!

So we left the dock at 7:30 and tried up to the next marina at 7:45pm, way passed my time at the wheel or my patience with the speed of travel.
