Sea-Tirement Adventures

Back on the boat last night and this morning did a trail run with the mechanic on board to make sure all was good. At that time it ran great. Back to the yard to give major dollars again it’s a boat.

About 10 miles from the yard we developed a slight shimmy in the starboard engine, nothing major just frustrating. We continued on to south of Beaufort SC to Port Royal Marina. We tried to get a slip in Beaufort but we were on a waitlist because we weren’t sure when the boat would be done. Next trip we’ll stop in Beaufort. The Port Royal Marina was great. Had a nice dinner and an early night.

On to Charleston tomorrow where we have an in town slip for two nights, then onward north!
