Melbourne to Titusville Harbor

Arrived at the marina and got all settled in. Started boat chores and in the engine room I noticed the port battery was overheating. Shot it with the temperature gun and it read 145 degrees! Whoa way out of then normal range. I check the battery charger and I had left on on while we were traveling. Maybe that’s what caused it. We’ll know tomorrow.

It cooled somewhat during the night and the engine started no issues in the morning.

One hour in and it began overheating again. We shut the port engine down and ran on one engine.
