Siesta key to Crow’s Nest Venice

Only a 15 mile run to the marina so we weren’t in any hurry to leave our great slip location. Johnny offered to help me find my coolant leak on the starboard engine. He found it right away(which I hadn’t been able to find) tightened the hose clamp and no more leak. He also recommended that we tighten the belts which he did. Great having someone with knowledge about engines and how to do stuff!

We left their house about 10:30 and headed for Venice. Easy run to the Marina and restaurant. Made reservations for dinner on the way and got the boat settled in at the dock.

The winds began to pick up we traveled south. Once we were settled at the marina I began checking the weather for the coming days because we are planning on anchoring out for two days at Cayo Costa state park. Looks like we will stay here an extra day. Quite a few other boats also came in and are staying also.
