IVY Club Peoria to Bar Island anchorage

Cold and rain off and on but travel was okay. Eighty miles down the Illinois River, but didn’t have to wait on the first Peoria lock. I called the Lockmaster at 7:00 and told him we would be there at 8:00 and he responded “We will have it ready for you “ and it was open when we got there. Traveling with a nice couple on their boat named Out To See.

Admiral did a great jump positioning the boat for anchoring and first try we are hooked up tight. Rain just doesn’t want to stop, and continues all night. Weather report says it should clear in the late morning, but with increasing winds.

We see what tomorrow brings.
