Heritage Harbor to IVY Club Peoria

Nothing too eventful today partly cloudy but good day for cruising down the river. Locks took up a bunch of time but we expected that.

Illinois Valley Yacht Club was closed on Monday but they set us up a space with water and electricity. They left the grill out for us to cook dinner. The approach was super skinny water 2.5 feet with 2 feet of sand and muck. We need 3.5 feet, went slow and did okay. As we approached a nice couple, who are also on the loop came to our dock and help with the lines. Had docktails with them and decided to travel together tomorrow and Thursday which is great to have a buddy boat.
