Midlands to Kings Bay anchorage
Left Wye Heritage Marina heading for Frying Pan Bay anchorage for our first night in the Georgian Bay. Way too crowded for our liking so we continued up the channel to check out other anchorages. Stopped at a few looking for maybe a sandy beach, but no the whole Bay is rock. Pull into Big Daddy Bay and tuck up in the corner of it is Kings Bay, must be my kind of place. Beautiful little protected bay perfect for us. Put the dinghy in the water and livin the dream.
King Rex – may this ALWAYS stay with you as the ‘perfect’ one …. Sorry so bad at catching up on these !! So happy y’all are doing this and exploring this way. Just finishing up in Tahoe with Adam, Lara and kids (they departed this morning and LD and I just came back from walking the ski Mtn – well, a portion of it anyway – 1.25 miles up a run – haha) and planning to just enjoy the day and the quiet….
